Youth Residential Care
Hope & Care Community Services provides therapeutic residential care for young people who require supported accommodation outside of the family home.
We work with the Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs (DCSSDS), Queensland Youth Justice, and family support agencies to provide 24/7 care for young people aged 12 to 25.

Hope & Care Community Services provides structured, supportive residential care for young people who need stability, guidance and assistance during periods of transition. Our services focus on safety, wellbeing, daily living skills and positive pathways toward greater independence.
What We Provide?
- 24/7 supported residential accommodation for young people in out-of-home care
- Trauma-informed, strengths-based care by trained residential care workers
- Life skills, education re-engagement, and employment readiness support
- Cultural safety planning including support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people
- Family contact and restoration support where safe and appropriate
- Transition planning to independent living or stable housing
- Coordination with DCSSDS, Queensland Youth Justice, Queensland Health, and schools
Who We Support?
- Young people aged 12–25 in state care under a child protection order
- Young people referred by DCSSDS or Queensland Youth Justice
- Young people transitioning from youth detention back into the community
