We are currently looking for experienced disability support Workers on the Brisbane South East to provide in home and community services and a  Business Development Manager to helps us reach & support more participants.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • High personal care supports
  • Medication administration and PEG feeding
  • Manual handling / hoisting experience
  • Bowel care and enema
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience with high physical care  is highly desirable but not essential
  • Must be willing to provide overnight supports in client’s home.
  • Assistance with daily living tasks such as meal preparations etc.

Skills and Experience

  • Blue card and Yellow Card
  • Police clearance certificate
  • Queensland open license and a personal vehicle
  • Certificate 3 in Individual supports, Tertiary qualifications in relevant community discipline will be highly regarded
  • Nursing background is highly regarded
  • Ability to do shift work including nights and weekends
  • Smartphone

Business Development Manager

About the Role

As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be the face of HCCS across Greater Brisbane, broadening our reach and strengthening our presence. You’ll engage with Participants and their families to understand their needs and ensure they receive the right support while building strong relationships with key stakeholders to expand our networks and drive service growth.

This role is perfect for a proactive self-starter who thrives working autonomously, effortlessly builds trust, and is passionate about identifying and seizing new opportunities.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop growth initiatives that align with financial goals and organisational values
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery and Intake teams to optimise the onboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions and prompt filling of vacancies
  • Establish strong connections with Local Area Coordinators, social workers, local councils, and other decision-makers to expand referral network
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, schools, allied health providers, and community groups
  • Collaborate on initiatives to expand service offerings and strengthen community connections
  • Promote HCCS services at industry events, networking opportunities, and expos to increase brand visibility and attract new clients

What We’re Looking For

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Sciences, Community Services or a related field will be valued but not essential
  • 2+ years’ experience in business development or community engagement within the NDIS sector is highly regarded
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve targets
  • A natural relationship-builder who can engage with families, professionals, and diverse community groups
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated passion for disability support and community engagement
  • A current driver’s licence and reliable transport (as travel is required for the role).
